Rarely, life gives us an opportunity to choose our new family, new home and a totally different lifestyle. If you think you’ve had enough of your current life, if you think you are at the juncture where life is inviting you to press a reset button for better, if you are open to a new life beyond rat race – This could be one such knock on the door….

What’s Sadhna Path ? Sadhna Path (formerly The Madman’s farm) is a 25 acre of natural forest farm , 150 KM from Bhopal, MP. It started in 2013. Primarily , this farm has been a pause space for seekers. It has a food forest, an organic farm, an alternative learning space, a rainwater harvesting lake, Vindhya hill forest right next to it and Narmada river at a 15mins drive.

What’s the Invitation ? We feel that this space can still welcome 4-6 more families , individuals. This will not only help the community become more diverse and rich and would allow people in search of a new space, family or community to join in.

What does joining mean ? We are looking for people who would be interested in making this space their second home (to begin with, and later it becomes the first ) and are willing to contribute, immerse, take charge of life happening here. Frankly, we are looking for friends with whom we can share our vision, co-create it together while having a laugh at the coffee table.

Is there option to own the land ? – Yes, we are open to all possibilities. Once we strike a chord together , – we can get into any kind of deal that works for you – you can buy the land , lease it or if you wish, just get involved without any legal framework. We believe human trust is more important than any legal document or process, once that is established other formalities are just to make things smooth and stable.

What are the current activities ? – We are doing 100% natural organic farming from last 10+ years, we try to live as sustainably as possible , we are engaged in afforestation, run a Gaushala for abandoned cows, a free unstructured learning space for village children, host meaningful and meaningless events from time to time, welcome anyone who wishes to take a pause in life and prefer gift culture rather than monetary exchange.

What is status of current community ? There is one family that lives there almost fulltime, 3 families are in the process of living more but as of now spend 30-50% of their time here. Residents are less as of now but more and more people are getting prepared , we hope to have a living community of 20-25 adults and 5-10 children in next 2-3 years.

Is there any eligibility or condition ? We don’t consider education, social status, economic standing, race, creed, religion, beliefs as a criterion. We believe that this land will chose it’s residents and residents would chose the land. It’s a very natural organic process. No specific conditions as such, we meet , discuss and find a way together.

BUT – yes , there is a but ! We wish to discourage this space becoming a farm-house for party goers, we wish not to engage with people who feel that their belief system / religion / Guru/ Philosophy is the absolute and only truth and everyone else is inferior unless they subscribe to it ! We also are tired of people wanting to change the world and looking for one’s who’ve realized that the only one we can really change is “ourselves”. Lastly, we seek adventure loving folks willing to step out of their comfort zones, who’ve realized that true happiness and meaning of life is in harmonious human relations, rest everything is just meant to support this.
